The Bill (Reg. No.2373) regulates activity of civil aviation in Ukraine, and aims at its coordination with the standards of international air legislation.
Discussing the Bill, the People´s Deputies expressed a number of remarks concerning support of aviation search and rescue, and organization of meteorological provision of air navigation. The People´s Deputies deem necessary to specify legal status of lands belonging to the airports (airfields), and activity of public bodies in charge of customs, border, sanitary, quarantine control and public order performed at the airports. The Committee members propose to supplement the Bill with an extra chapter "Meteorological Provision" in order to secure compliance of the Bill with international legal regulations.
The Committee members resolved to uphold the Bill, taking into account introduced motions and remarks. A relevant resolution was forwarded to the Committee on Transport and Communications.
